The weather has temporarily calmed; however, hazardous conditions remain. Avoid any downed powerlines assuming all power lines are live and dangerous. Multiple traffic lights are down, please treat intersections as four-way stops.
Wait until conditions improve before assessing damage and take extreme caution when doing so.
Butte- Silver Bow Public Transit and Para-Transit is canceled for today.
The Civic Center is open for anyone who needs sheltering related to the storm and charging stations are available.
Residents are urged to remain cautious, secure loose objects, bring pets inside, and limit travel. Please me mindful of road workers and first responders who are responding to this incident.
