MONTY R. WHITE, August 19, 1942 to August 19, 2017


Monty R White, born in Deer Lodge to Beverley Dinesen White and Harold White on August 19, 1942, passed away on August 19, 2017, his 75th birthday. Growing up in Centerville he attended the Blaine school and Butte High. He then joined the USAF spending 4 years in Madrid, Spain. He married Marlene Kronwell in 1964, they were married for several years remaining friends. 

Monty worked for Knievel Imports and later Eddie Leipheimer. He then opened his first dealership, Used Cars Inc. and went on to open Monty White Ford and Subaru and several others throughout his career. Establishing himself as the consummate salesman always dressing accordingly. Monty was a well-known member of the Shriners rising to the rank of Jester. 

Monty played as hard as he worked. Weekends at Georgetown Lake where you could find him. 

Monty and his wife Jacque have spent 21 wonderful years together, the "love of each other's lives".  She survives, also surviving are her daughter Theresa Brendal (Marty) 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, brother-in-law and friend Mic Dinsmore, his half-brother Mike Morris, his very special nieces Shava Dowland, Andrea Dowland and her 4 children, and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Monty has many special friends, too many to name, but you all know who you are. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Susan and Tondra, his brother-in-law and wife John and Jeanie Dinsmore.

As per Monty's request, there will not be a service, instead there will be a celebration of life party. We invite you to join us Saturday August 26th from 1-4 at the Copper King Inn. 

Monty was well known by many and loved by all. He will surely be missed.
