Butte COVIDential: State has 5 new cases

Butte-Silver Bow Health Officer Karen Sullivan says the state's COVID-19 testing numbers remain steady at between 300 and 500 daily.

The total number of those tested in Montana for the COVID-19 virus stands at 9,583, with 349 new tests reported by the state this morning.

The total number of confirmed cases is now 404, and 5 of those are new.

Flathead county reported one new case, as did Gallatin, Pondera, Roosevelt, and Yellowstone.

The Treasure State reports that 209 people have recovered from the virus in Montana. Seven have died. There are 21 current hospitalizations, and 51 people have been hospitalized overall.

The novel coronavirus numbers for Montana were updated at 10 am.
