Tester's rural media conference call

Nov. 27, 2018
Senator Jon Tester spoke with rural reporters during a conference call this morning.  He discussed a bill that would help "blue water" service members who suffer from the effects of Agent Orange but were not on the ground in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War.
He also talked about working for Medicaid expansion, and he noted that he had a suicide prevention bill in the works.
One reporter said that veterans were having difficulty obtaining post 9-11 benefits. The senator said that those having difficulty obtaining those benefits should call any of his field offices for assistance.
