Two men, one armed with a black handgun, robbed the Thriftway at Amherst and Harrison at 4:26 this morning, Sheriff Ed Lester reported in an email.
The men fled in a “dark sedan,” Lester wrote.
The men were dressed in dark hooded sweatshirts, and both were between 5’10” tall and 6-feet tall.
They demanded money from the clerk and took an undisclosed amount from the store’s till, the sheriff said.
When the men fled the scene they headed south on Harrison, the email noted.
No one was injured during the robbery, and an investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should call Det. Sgt. Brian Sullivan at (406) 497.1173.
