Auditions for Anaconda Ensemble Theatre's (AET) Actor Roulette version of A Christmas Carol by James Venhaus and Jackie Vetter are coming up, as the company strives to keep Southwest Montana entertained, even through the holiday season!

This production is a comedic adaptation of the original with a twist: actors have no idea who they are playing until the night of the show! If you are up for that challenge, we are looking for you!

Auditions will be accepted via video from now until October 30th, and there are LIVE Zoom Auditions Sunday OCTOBER 23RD 3 - 6 pm. This is a Non-Equity, professional production, we cannot have any Actor’s Equity Association members participate at this time. Actors must be 18+ to audition.

What is Actor Roulette? Actor Roulette is a performance where the actors have no idea who they are playing until the night of the show! There will be a light rehearsal process and actors will be encouraged to learn the story and make big character choices. There will be tracked scripts for each character/track of characters (some people will play multiple). On the night of the performance, we will draw names out of a hat for each actor. This will be a moving staged reading in that way, with the flexibility to riff on and improv (as long as the show moves). This show will play 3 to 4 performances in multiple locations (both theatrical venues and bars). Locations and times are TBD but run between November 25th and December 17th.
