Four nicked on South Washington

Four persons were arrested at a residence in the 700 block of South Washington Street on Tuesday night.

The Arrestees are all from Butte.

Anthony LaMere, age 31. was charged with two warrants, both are for contempt of court. One is a misdemeanor out of City Court and the second is a felony out of District Court. -

The others arrested are: Tonya Moore, age 43; Tammy Moore, age 59; Kristel Clouse, age 32.

Officers had responded to a disturbance. While there, officers saw LaMere enter a residence. The officers knew LaMere was wanted on the local warrants.

The three women allegedly concealed the fact that LaMere was at the residence. Officers were able to locate LaMere hiding in the cellar of the residence. LaMere was arrested on the warrants.

The three women were arrested for allegedly obstructing a peace officer. A bag allegedly belonging to Clouse was also found to contain possible methamphetamine when the bag was searched at the jail. Clouse is also charged with possession of dangerous drugs.
