Patricia "Pat" Bartoletti - December 19, 1921 - March 5, 2017

Patricia Marie “Pat” Bartoletti passed away peacefully at her Butte home on March 5. She was 95. Pat was a great woman who embraced her role of wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother in a way our Blessed Mother Mary would surely have approved. She was born in Seattle and graduated from Marylhurst College near Portland with a degree in music. But it was who she met at college that would change her life. Ed “Doc” Bartoletti of Butte was smitten with this talented redheaded beauty and they were married in 1944. After Doc’s stint in the service and dental school, they found themselves back in Butte to make what would turn out to be a truly memorable life. Eleven children came from this union: Patsie Thomas (Bill), Mary Lou Williams (Darrell), Dr. Eddie Bartoletti (Leeann), Dianne Coghlan (Ed), Cathy Koon (Ron), Mary Jo Mihailovich (Mitch), Dr. Mike Bartoletti (Kay), Dr. Tom Bartoletti (Laurie), Frannie Driscoll, Louie Bartoletti (Judy) and Andy Bartoletti (Brenda). She has company in heaven. She joins Doc, her beloved son Andy, her parents Andrew and Josephine Neubecker and her sister Betty Neubecker at God’s heavenly table. In addition to her children, Pat leaves 41 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren to carry on in the great example she set for all of us. She also leaves great memories of love and laughs for hundreds of Butte children (now grandparents themselves!) who were always welcome in the Bartoletti home and cabin A wake and rosary for Pat will be held Monday, March 13 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Butte from 5 pm-to-7 p.m. A funeral mass on Tuesday March 14 will be held at 10 a.m. at St Ann’s in Butte. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to one of three charities important to her: The Butte Central Foundation, The Chordoma Foundation (http:/// and/or Our Lady of the Rockies.
