Search for bombing suspect no. 2 continues

Boston has been shut down as police hunt for the second suspect in the Boston Marathon bombing, NPR reports. The first suspect, a 26-year-old who emigrated to the U.S. from Chechnya, was killed in a gun battle with police. The second suspect is his 19-year-old younger brother, also a Chechen immigrant. ABC provides live updates. CBS has interviews with the relatives of the young men.

Explosions heard at finish line of Boston Marathon

The New York Times reports that two explosions were heard at the finish line of the Boston Marathon. The race ends inside the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel. Authorities are investigating.
